A Message To Our Customers From Owner & CEO Craig Caplan

As a family owned and operated business for over 50 years, we have always viewed our customers and employees as family, the health and safety of which is paramount to our success. With the growth and proliferation of Coronavirus, we have made proactive decisions to protect everyone and do our part to flatten the curve.

To that end, over the past weeks, we have mandated the following protocols for our staff during this challenging time:

  • Work From Home – We reiterated that those with any inkling of illness should stay home. Those who are able to work from home have been encouraged to do so during this time. We have converted many in-office staff to have work from home capabilities to minimize contact.
  • Cleaning & Sanitizing – We’ve increased our cleaning and sanitization in all offices and warehouses and reduced handling of products and paper. Our TASKPAD already allows us to take orders digitally, but we’re making sure they are also processed as cleanly as possible.
  • Information Sharing – We are closely following and sharing all guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the CDC (Canadian Disease Control) and the PHAC (Public Health Agency of Canada), to ensure all team members are educated in correct practices.
  • Social Distancing – Everyone has been encouraged to stay six feet apart from each other and to replace handshakes with alternative greetings. Further, we understand that you may wish to limit or reduce non-essential interactions at this time. Please let us know should you wish for your Territory Manager to work with you via phone or email, rather than in person.

We will continue to be proactive in adjusting our practices as this situation develops. We know many of you are like us – a family owned and operated business – and are concerned about the challenges ahead. We are currently working on some ways to help alleviate the burdens and will be in touch with more information later this week.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me should you have any questions or concerns.

Craig Caplan,
